Q1: What is IIDHEI 2026?
A: IIDHEI 2026 stands for International Invention, Innovation & Design in Higher Education Impact. It is an international platform for showcasing innovation, design, and invention projects from higher education institutions worldwide, with a strong focus on sustainable impact and SDG-driven outcomes.
Q2: When will IIDHEI 2026 take place?
A: IIDHEI 2026 is a fully online event. Key dates are:
IID Submission Opens: 1 March 2026
Full Showcase Submission Deadline: 17 May 2026
IIDHEI Pitch Video Submission: 31 May 2026
Online IID Showcase Open: 13 June 2026
Impact Recognition & Certificate Notification: 30 June 2026
2️⃣ Participation & Fees
Q3: Who can participate in IIDHEI 2026?
A: The event is open to:
Students
Academic staff / lecturers
Industry and community partners
Q4: What are the participation fees?
Local Presenter (Normal): RM 150
Local Presenter (UiTM): RM 100
Student Presenter (UiTM): RM 50
International Presenter: USD 50
Q5: Will I receive a certificate?
A: Yes. All registered participants will receive:
E-Certificate of Participation
Additionally, selected outstanding projects will receive an Impact Recognition Certificate.
3️⃣ Submission Format & Evaluation
Q6: What is the required submission format?
A: Each submission consists of:
A Poster
A Video Pitch (5–10 minutes duration)
Any supporting materials (optional)
Q7: How will submissions be evaluated?
A: Submissions will be evaluated by two expert panels:
Panel 1: Innovation in Learning & Teaching
Panel 2: Academic Innovation for Societal Impact (USR & Community Wellbeing)
Q8: How do I submit my work?
A: All submissions must be uploaded online via the official submission platform.
The Online Gallery will be accessible starting from 8 January 2026.
Q9: Can I submit as a group?
A: Yes. Each submission may include up to 10 participants per team, which may consist of students, academic staff, and community partners.

Q10: What sub-themes are available for submission?
A: Participants can submit under a wide range of sub-themes, including but not limited to:
